Tiffany Gift Box

Tiffany`s Gift box cake. It was very easy to do with the exception of the logo. If you don`t get it right then the whole cake is ruined! It took a few practice runs but in the end it looked amazing!

Tattoo Machine Cake

This was a cake for a friend "Big Papa" who is a Tattoo Artist. Cherry Chip on the inside, very tasty however a very delicate and crumbly cake which made the carving and crumb coating difficult. Also having my husband who is also a Tattoo Artist hovering over my work was not an easy task! Do you know how hard it is to make a tattoo machine cake with a Tattoo Artist critiquing your every move? It turned out awesome and he was very happy!

Christian Louboutin Shoebox cake

Happy Birthday Fashionista! I didn't even know who or what Louboutin was until this cake. The shoe was the most difficult part of the whole cake! It took almost 2 days and 2 attempts to complete.

Bridal Shower Cake

This was one of my first attempts at stenciling on fondant. It was for a close friends bridal shower. My hands still shake when I am piping especially when it is a dark color on top of white. But even though you can see the shaky lines it still looked awesome!

Do or do not...

There is no try!
This is my first Star Wars cake and my only one that I have done so far. I am eager to do another! The cake was pretty simple once I got past the detail in Yoda's head. I absolutely loved this cake and I was glad that I was not around when they cut into Yoda!

Bear Baby Shower Cake

This was done for a baby shower! The `bear` part of the cake was a heavy pound cake which later started to crush the cake on the bottom! Lesson learned on cake support!

1st Birthday Cake!

This cake was designed to match the print from the little girls wallpaper! It was hit pink on the inside!
Cinderella!
The hair is made with fondant but the rest is nothing but piped stars! It took a long time but looked pretty cool when done! I haven't done many cakes this way because most people ask for more outrageous 3D cakes. I think that the slab character cakes are becoming out of style. This cake totally reminded me of when I was a kid!

Take me out to the ball game!

This was for a birthday of a big baseball fan. None of the pictures I took of this cake were in focus, bummer:( It wasn't exactly to scale but they loved it anyway!

Wedding Cake 2

This was my 2nd attempt at a wedding cake. I was solo for this one and although the couple loved it I still nit pick the little errors! But, it is a learning process!
The really cool thing about this cake was that it was purple on this inside!

My first Cake!

This is the first wedding cake that started it all! With the help of my friends mother, we built this beautiful 4 tiered wonder! It was my first experience with fondant and gum paste which I now use faithfully!
